FIFA has unveiled three mascots for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.

The tournament, which will be played June 11 to July 19, is set to take place in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Given that there are three host countries, each mascot released by FIFA on Thursday represents one of the three North American countries.

Representing Canada is Maple the Moose. FIFA describes Maple as “born to roam, journeying across all of Canada’s provinces and territories while connecting with people and embracing the country’s rich culture.”

Zayu the Jaguar is representing Mexico. Described as being “from the jungles of Southern Mexico,” the name Zayu is intended to inspire “unity, strength, and joy.”
