SHARON A Youngstown man was arrested on nearly a dozen charges after allegedly striking a woman with his car as she walked her dogs in Sharon.

According to a criminal complaint filed by the Sharon Police Department, Jhailyn Daimon Richardson, 22, faces felony charges, including aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence and accidents involving death or injury while not licensed.

He was also charged with multiple misdemeanors, including two counts of driving under the influence and driving without a license.

The alleged incident took place around 7:29 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Thornton Street and Hall Avenue. Police allege that Richardson was driving a white 2019 Ford Fusion when he crashed into a woman, who was walking two dogs.
