ROSELAND, La. — The Environmental Protection Agency has posted a video to social media with an update on the cleanup from the fire at Smitty's Supply.
The facility in Roseland burned for days after an explosion, and chemical-filled soot spread for miles.
The EPA showed one of the ponds where they're trying to contain some of the oil and chemicals on the water.
Cleanup officials say they can collect more of the oil at a time once it pools in areas like these.
More than 1.5 million gallons of contaminated water have been collected so far this week.
