William Shatner was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon after suffering a medical emergency.

Shatner, who is best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk on “Star Trek,” was reportedly experiencing issues with his blood sugar while in his Los Angeles home, according to TMZ . He first called emergency medical service workers for help, who sent an LAFD ambulance to his residence as a precaution.

Shatner was then taken to a local hospital for evaluation and later returned home. “He’s fine,” Shatner’s agent, Harry Gold, confirmed to the outlet.

The 94-year-old actor has been transparent with fans over the years regarding his health.
