GWAR recently decapitated an effigy of Elon Musk and disembowled Trump onstage, fake blood spurting into the audience at Riotfest in Chicago. Conservative commentators had nothing to say when they did mock executions of Democrats like Hillary Clinton, Obama, and Biden but are suddenly outraged for some reason -- I can't imagine why!

Blöthar the Berserker responded by comparing it to cartoon violence, going on to say that "It's trying to make violence into a spectacle and show humanity’s absolute absurdity. That's what GWAR is, it's absurdism. To say it's normalizing violence is really reaching."

They also had harsh words for the worst rag in America, the New York Post: "GWAR is to violence what the New York Post is to journalism. Ridiculous."
