Provincial police charged a B.C. resident with impaired driving and drug possession after an officer noticed smoke coming from the vehicle near Brockville on Wednesday. Article content

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police’s Highway Safety Division noticed a transport truck “emitting an excessive amount of smoke” on Highway 401 near Brockville, police said Thursday.

“The vehicle was stopped, and suspected drugs were observed inside the cabin.”
