Another early Gameday Thread, and this one will be quite brief. We have a long day of scoreboard watching ahead of us. In ten minutes after this is published, at 9:40 am Arizona time, the Reds will get under way as they try to avoid a potentially disastrous sweep at the hands of the Pirates. Three hours later, at 12:40 pm, the main course gets under way at Chase Field, in the rubber game between the D-backs and Dodgers. The season series is also on the line there, though that is merely of token interest.
