FB Financial announces executive appointments

Nashville-based FB Financial Corporation has announced two senior leaders will assume broader executive leadership roles.

Effective Oct. 1, Michael Mettee, currently chief financial officer, will be named chief operating officer and chief financial officer, while Scott Tansil, current chief operations officer, will be named chief business and operations officer, the company said in a release.

Mettee will assume responsibility for the company’s banking markets, credit, and customer experience, while continuing his responsibilities as CFO.

Tansil will continue to oversee bank operations, the mortgage division and the manufactured housing division with the addition of establishing a new procurement function.
