Agartala, 25 th September 2025: In a significant move towards digital empowerment at the grassroots level, a special event was held today in front of the Gouranagar Panchayat Samiti office, jointly organized by the Department of Higher Education and the Panchayat department. As part of the initiative, 23 village panchayats under Gouranagar Block were each provided with a computer, printer, and LED television to enhance administrative efficiency and public service delivery.

The distribution ceremony was attended by key officials including Gouranagar Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Lakhi Namah, Vice Chairperson Badruzzaman, BDO Nabarun Chakraborty, Additional BDO Tanzim Chakma, elected members of the Panchayat Samiti, and heads and secretaries of various village panchayats
