HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Henderson Economic Development (HED) says Governor Andy Beshear announced the approval of a Kentucky Product Development Initiative (KPDI) grant in regard to a Henderson County site.

According to the HED, the project involves completing the due diligence on the site, making it more desirable for potential new industries looking to locate in Henderson. In total, the site is approximately 60 acres, owned by the city of Henderson and Henderson Water Utility. It is located on the 425 Bypass, adjacent to Pratt Industries. Completion of this project will be the first step in ensuring this site is ready for future industrial development.
