Boo’s to close

East Hollywood: The Boo’s Philly Cheesesteak location at the corner of Fountain and Virgil avenues is closing on Oct. 4 after a 14-year run, according to the company’s Instagram . Boo’s locations in Echo Park and Koreatown, however, will remain open. No explanation for the East Hollywood closure was given. A Peruvian restaurant that once stood on the other side of Virgil is now also gone, as is a small convenience store that was formerly one block down on Fountain.
