After parting ways with Ivan Lendl , Andy Murray wanted to add Jannik Sinner ‘s coach, Darren Cahill , to his team back in 2014. But Cahill couldn’t commit to being in Murray’s team as a full-time coach.

The reason was that he had a lot of commentary duties. Murray’s mother, Judy Murray , talked about Cahill’s role during The Sit Down podcast.
