OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The next phase of the construction of the Harney Street Bridge over I-480 will require the closure of a stretch of 29th Street on Friday.

The closure will be between Farnam and Harney and is scheduled between 7 AM to approximately 2:30 PM.

While the road is closed, new concrete will be poured for the approach to the new bridge.

Once the road reopens, there is some good news.

The ramp that has been closed from 29th Street to southbound I-480 will reopen and will be available for use just in time for the weekend.
