MILWAUKEE -- When IndyCar announced races at Road America and the Milwaukee Mile in 2026, the prospect of having Indy NXT races in Wisconsin as well became not a matter of if, but when.

On Thursday, we learned that when as the 2026 Indy NXT schedule was revealed. Just like its parent series, the developmental series will have three races in Wisconsin.

However, while IndyCar will run one race at Road America and two in Milwaukee, Indy NXT will do the inverse. There will be a doubleheader on June 20-21 at Road America and a single race at the Milwaukee Mile on Aug. 30.
