Out of all the scary moments for the future of health and well-being in the United States, the nation’s president standing up and telling pregnant women to “tough it out” and forgo Tylenol during pregnancy because he believes that the drug causes autism was one of the scariest. “Don’t take Tylenol,” Donald Trump said in a White House briefing. “Don’t take it. Fight like hell not to take it.” He also announced that the Food and Drug Administration would be telling doctors to warn women about alleged autism risks tied to acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, and questioned the standard childhood vaccination schedule, arguing that it was “too much liquid”
