Bengaluru : Wipro founder and chairman Azim Premji has declined a request from Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to open the company’s Sarjapur campus to public traffic as a way of easing congestion on the Outer Ring Road.

In his reply to the Chief Minister’s appeal, Premji acknowledged the seriousness of Bengaluru’s traffic woes but said allowing vehicles through the campus was not legally or practically possible.
