Taylor Swift will release her 12th studio album "The Life of a Showgirl" on Oct. 3, 2025.

Taylor Swift will appear on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." It would be the first U.S. media stop announced in connection with the release of her album "The Life of a Showgirl."

The late night host made the announcement on his Instagram page using gambling props and a roulette wheel. The clip shows Fallon playfully placing bets on a black 10, black 6 and red 25 before giving the wheel a spin. The ball lands on a black 13, a nod to Swift's lucky number.

After losing his wager, Fallon quips, "Baby, that's show business for you," referencing a phrase associated with Swift's showgirl era and one of her eight limited-edition vinyl variants.

The bet of 10/6/25 is the date the singer will appear on the show. The caption to the post read, "Not a lot going on at the moment," which is a nod to one of Swift's captions she posted during the pandemic when she was secretly working on her "Folklore" album.

Fallon appearance to follow release

Swift's appearance will follow the release of her 12-track album, music video for "The Fate of Ophelia" and only weekend that she will show her 89-minute movie "Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl" in theaters.

Swift is also scheduled for an Oct. 3 appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" in the United Kingdom. She'll join actors Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith and Domhnall Gleeson on the cozy red couch. Lewis Capaldi is booked as the night's musical guest.

Swift has steadily built anticipation since announcing her 12th era on the Aug. 13 episode of fiancé Travis Kelce's "New Heights" podcast. She's released eight versions of the album. Although the songs are the same, the aesthetic, photos and colors are all different. Her latest variant, "The Crowd is Your King," was announced by Target on Sept. 24.
