Stuart Armstrong has admitted his only focus is getting Jimmy Thelin ’s Aberdeen going and he hasn’t even considered a Scotland recall.
The midfielder moved to the Dons as a free agent, the day after the transfer window closed.
It hasn’t exactly been a happy homecoming, as Aberdeen have still to win a game and in his two starts they have lost to Motherwell in the cup and to Dundee United in the league .
Those results have heaped the pressure on manager Thelin, just months after he lifted the Scottish Cup.
Armstrong is keen to try and relieve some of that pressure with some long, overdue wins, starting with the weekend visit to Motherwell in the league.
“It’s (Scotland) not at the forefront,” Armstrong confirmed. “I think more importantly to me is, esp
