LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The search for an “armed and dangerous” man is underway after a woman was reported missing in east Lincoln on Thursday.

At around 8 a.m., two people went to a home near 95th Street and Eagleton Lane looking for their mother, 42-year-old Jesserae Beck.

Officers were familiar with Beck, as they had been investigating previous allegations of domestic assault and a violation of a protection order, Police Chief Michon Morrow said.

Beck’s children were unable to find her, and the SWAT team was called in to make entry inside the home.

The SWAT team did not find the suspect, 36-year-old Christopher Collins, or Beck. Instead, Morrow said they found a “significant scene” inside the home.
