PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Valley animal shelter is offering free adoptions for nearly all of its pets for just one day this weekend!

The Arizona Humane Society (AHS) is at capacity in its shelters, so if you’re looking to add a new furry family member, now’s a great chance.

AHS is hosting $0 adoptions for all animals over 6 months old only on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The free adoption event will be happening at all AHS locations .
