Maritza Brito-Mellinger, 27, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
As we previously reported in August , a man was on a walk with his young daughter in the Sleepy Hollow area when they encountered Brito-Mellinger driving her car.
She began yelling and tried to strike them with her car.
The man was able to get himself and his daughter out of the way when the woman turned around and tried to hit them with the car again.
The man put his daughter behind a tree and pulled out his concealed firearm to aim at the oncoming car.
When Brito-Mellinger saw the weapon, she drove off
