Public Mobile is implementing price hikes, in what appears to be a practice we’ve normally seen for postpaid customers on Koodo and Telus .
So what’s happening? Some customers such as those on $15 and $20 per month plans have been notified that a price increase is coming at $3/month. This is coming as a surprise to customers who believed their prices would remain the same as long as they didn’t change plans.
After reaching out to the company about the change, a Public Mobile spokesperson told iPhone in Canada in a statement they “proactively contacted a small number of Public Mobile customers on select legacy monthly rate plans” to let them know a $3 increase is coming on their next billing cycle, set to begin on October 30, 2025.
