NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - The North Charleston Police Department (NCPD) announced today that they are fully staffed with 315 officers.

According to the agency, this is the first time in about four years that the department has been fully staffed, and the NCPD is very proud.

NCPD states that this milestone reflects the dedication of their recruiting team and the commitment of every officer representing their department.

NCPD extends its gratitude to Mayor Burgess, City Council, and the North Charleston community for their support.

"Together, we`re building a safer, stronger North Charleston for everyone," said NCPD in their social post.
