RATHDRUM, Idaho — Lakeland High School will receive a $25,000 prize through the T-Mobile "Friday Night 5G Lights" program after being named one of 25 finalist schools in a nationwide competition to celebrate the power of high school football to bring communities together.

The $25,000 award will allow the school to consider several important projects, including stadium repairs, improved accessibility, updates to the concession stand, and replacing the H-style field goal posts with Y-style posts.

The finalist status also places the school in the running for the grand prize of $1 million, as well as a renovated weight room from Gronk Fitness and a tailgate party revealing the finalized upgrades in 2026.
