PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) - Weston Herrington, 33, of Jones County, has been arrested and charged with felony theft of livestock.

Herrington is accused of stealing five head of cattle from a property in Covington County, each one valued at $10,000.

The Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau worked alongside the Covington County Sheriff’s Office to identify a suspect and recover the cattle. The stolen cattle have been located and returned to their rightful owner.

Weston Herrington is being held at Covington County Jail. Additional charges could be added as the investigation continues.
