COVINGTON COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) - Investigators with the Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau (MALTB) and Covington County deputies arrested a man in connection to the theft of livestock.

Weston Herrington, 33, of Jones County, was arrested on September 22, 2025. Investigators said he was charged with felony theft of livestock. Herrington is accused of stealing five head of cattle, valued at $10,000, from a property in Covington County.

MALTB agents said the stolen cattle were located and returned to their rightful owner.
