A Glasgow east end pub which has been owned by the same family for more than 70 years has gone up for sale.

Described as a real "institution", the Crown Creighton Bar on Duke Street, in Dennistoun , has gone on the market, with price available on request.

According to marketers, Smith & Clough, the pub has become "well-established" over the years and has built a strong reputation in the area.

The bar benefits from a continued local clientele and is particularly busy during the football season due to its close proximity to Celtic Park .

It also often shows sporting events via Sky Sports, TNT and Premier Sports in both bars.

Previously, the pub also had live music and karaoke on Friday nights, and this could easily be re-introduced by a new owner should they wish.
