Edinburgh emergency services have raced to a crash on the A720 city bypass on Thursday evening.

Around 9.05pm on September 25, drivers were warned of a one-vehicle collision on the A720 at Dreghorn at the Exit slip Eastbound.

The route is currently closed and police are at the scene.

It's not known if there have been any injuries. Drivers have been urged to "take care on approach"

A statement from Traffic Scotland reads: "NEW 21:05 #A720 - Dreghorn.

"The Exit slip Eastbound is currently CLOSED due to a single vehicle collision. Police are in attendance...please #takecare on approach."

Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
