GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Christkindl Markt is returning to the city in November, and it is bringing back some of the community's favorite vendors.
The popular Christmas Market event kicks off on Nov. 19 and lasts through Dec. 23. This year, they have selected more than 60 vendors, selling food, drinks, jewelry, ceramics, candles, soaps, toys, stationery, holiday decor and home decor.
And don't worry, the popular melted raclette — an Alpine cheese iconic for its pungent aroma and nutty flavor — will be back again in 2025. Some of the other foods and drinks available include: Warm potato pancakes, Bavarian-style pretzels, bratwurst, pierogies, schnitzel, spaetzle, red Glühwein (mulled wine), hot cocoa, hot cider and a bubbles bar.
