OLYMPIA, Wash. - New projections from the Employment Security Department predicts Washington job growth will sit at an annual rate below 1%.

The projected annual growth rate from 2023 to 2028 is 0.97%, and 0.89% from 2028 to 2033.

The highest growth is expected in the education and health fields, according to the report.

Fast food workers, home health aides and registered nurses are predicted to have the most job openings annually.
