LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A Louisville man has been charged in a road rage assault.

Police said Austin Kelly, 29, cut off another driver near Interchange Drive, just off Preston Highway in southern Jefferson County. They said he slammed on his brakes and caused a crash.

Witnesses told police Kelly got out with a handgun, pointed it at the victim’s head, and slapped the victim in the face.

When officers searched his Jeep, they say they found marijuana and a Glock handgun inside.
