OTISFIELD, Maine — Several animals were killed early Thursday morning during a fire in Otisfield, state officials said.

Fire marshal investigators responded to 112 Oak Hill Road shortly after 2 a.m., finding a mobile home and a vehicle with "significant damage," according to a news release from the Maine Department of Public Safety.

No people were injured in the blaze.

Investigators remained on scene throughout the day, examining the surrounding area to determine the cause of the fire, the release stated.

The investigation is ongoing.
