It’s a hub that offers hope.
The Working Centre’s campus, at 97 Victoria St. N. in Kitchener, has seen the century-old, former industrial building repurposed for supportive housing, a new home for St. John’s Kitchen and various services and supports for people experiencing homelessness.
“We’re proud to be part of this innovative partnership that has created a place of belonging for people who are experiencing homelessness in our region,” Joe Mancini, director of The Working Centre, said in a news release.
“We have watched this timely idea grow from a notion into a reality, working alongside of many community partners.”
