BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) -- Two weeks to the day that Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University, Megyn Kelly and Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin spoke at the organization's event on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was originally scheduled to host the event at Virginia Tech and had a stop at nearby Liberty University planned in October.

More than 2,500 people, many of them Virginia Tech students, attended the event, which was kicked off with speeches from Youngkin and Kelly.
