If you bought an Oster countertop oven with French doors in the past 10 years, check it immediately.

The model numbers TSSTTVFDXL, TSSTTVFDDG, TSSTTVFDMAF and TSSTTVFDDAF were recalled on Thursday, Sept. 25, by parent company Sunbeam Products, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

The recall is because there have been nearly 100 reports of the doors closing unexpectedly and injuring users. In two instances, users received second-degree burns, the CPSC said.

Remedy

The CPSC advises that oven owners “should immediately stop using the recalled countertop ovens and contact Sunbeam Products Inc. to receive a free repair kit.
