More than 1.2 million Oster French Door Countertop Ovens have been recalled after reports that the doors can unexpectedly close, posing a burn risk to users, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said Thursday .
Sunbeam Products Inc., the importer based in Atlanta, said the affected models — TSSTTVFDXL, TSSTTVFDDG, TSSTTVFDMAF and TSSTTVFDDAF — feature spring-loaded glass doors with metal handles. The ovens were sold nationwide at retailers including Bed Bath & Beyond, Costco, Walmart and online at Amazon.com and Overstock.com from August 2015 through July 2025 for $140 to $250, the CPSC said.
The company has received 95 reports of doors closing unexpectedly, including two cases of second-degree burns.
Consumers should stop using the ovens immediately and contact Sunbeam
