MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a Ruston man accused of crimes involving sex trafficking of children.

On Sept. 24, OPSO arrested 43-year-old Boris Braggs on 27 counts of attempted carnal knowledge of a juvenile, one count of computer-aided solicitation of a juvenile, one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and one count of trafficking a child for sexual purposes.

According to arrest warrants, Braggs found what he thought was a 15-year-old girl on a website well-known for selling sexual services.

Louisiana State Police said Braggs texted the girl that he wanted to “hook up,” but was nervous because of her age. LSP added that Braggs asked the girl if he was being set up by law enforcement.
