RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A man is facing attempted murder charges after police say he strangled a woman to the point that she lost consciousness.

The incident happened at around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday on Longley Lane near Rock and Pembroke.

RPD says a 28-year-old woman said she had been restrained by 26-year-old Francisco Mayorga.
