The skateboard Tony Hawk used to land the first-ever official “900” aerial maneuver at the 1999 X Games has sold for more than $1 million at auction.

Julien’s Auctions, which handled the sale, shared that the skateboard was sold for $1.15 million. The buyer was not disclosed.

The auction house originally estimated the skateboard to sell for around $500,000 to $700,000.

Hawk rode the board when he made history during the “Vert Best Trick” competition in San Francisco. He and Andy Macdonald also used it to capture gold in the “Vert Doubles” event that year.
