Coffeeness, a German coffee machine company, analyzed Google Trends data to determine which pumpkin food is each state's favorite .

Pumpkin bread came out on top nationally with 20 states naming the spiced bread as their favorite. The second favorite was pumpkin muffins, which were the Northeast part of the United States and California's favorite. Despite the perceived popularity of pumpkin spice lattes, only South Dakota named it as their top pumpkin treat.
