OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - The driver who died in a fiery crash on the US 60 Bypass earlier this month has been identified weeks later.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Charles Dosch from Maceo, Kentucky was identified Thursday as the driver through dental records.

As we have reported, Dosch’s passenger 43-year-old Brian Deaton from Shelbyville, Kentucky was also killed in the accident and identified days later.

DCSO says the two died on impact when their vehicle crossed the median and hit a truck .

They say the victims’ car caught fire which affected investigator’s ability to identify them.
