LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Health officials in Ingham County are doing their part to help prevent opioid overdoses.
The Ingham County Health Department on Thursday held its “Save A Life” event, offering community members access to free Naloxone, the life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.
The event coincides with National Recovery Month, observed every September to raise awareness about substance use disorders and highlight the resources available for recovery efforts.
