The B.C. General Employees Union is on strike.

Job action began with picket lines at several ministry offices before expanding to overtime bans for correctional officers. In recent days, the BCGEU has expanded their strike to include B.C. Liquor Distribution Branch warehouses, offices, wholesale operations, and retail stores.
