The Boston Public Health Commission is partnering with several community organizations to provide free vaccine clinics around the city, the commission announced Wednesday.

BPHC teamed up with Boston Public Schools, Boston Centers for Youth & Families, and community organizations to launch the clinics in late September before the climax of the respiratory virus season, the commission said in a press release .

All of the clinics will provide free flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, and some will also offer routine childhood vaccinations for children five and older, according to BPHC.

Residents do not need an appointment and providing insurance and identification is not required. However, those with a health insurance card should bring it with them, the release said.
