The Democratic members of the New Jersey congressional delegation called on the chairmen of the U.S. House Armed Services, Oversight, and Veterans’ Affairs committees to investigate the release of Rep. Mikie Sherrill’s military personnel records.
In a letter sent to U.S. Sens. Roger Wicker, Rand Paul and Jerry Moran as well as Reps. Mike Rogers, Mike Bost and James Comer, the delegation called for an investigation into what they consider a dangerous effort to weaponize the federal government and meddle in New Jersey’s upcoming gubernatorial election.
