ROCKFORD, Ill. — Three people in southeast Rockford were arrested together for multiple charges.

Around 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 19, Rockford Police officers were called to an apartment building in the 4400 block of Carthage Drive for a report that a suspicious-looking man with a bag sped into the parking lot. Five days earlier, they had visited the same building for a report that 34-year-old Brian Davis of Rockford had stolen a vehicle and was armed, but he was gone when they arrived.

A Rockford K-9 Officer identified the suspicious person as Davis. Davis ran into the apartment but was quickly surrounded.

A search warrant was obtained for Davis's apartment. The warrant was executed, and Davis was taken to Winnebago County Jail.
