SERGEANT BLUFF, Iowa (KTIV) - A fire broke out at a Sergeant Bluff, Iowa home Thursday afternoon.

The fire happened before 5 p.m. on Harrington Loop East in Sergeant Bluff, near Wilde Park.

Video obtained by KTIV shows a large amount of smoke was coming from the Sergeant Bluff home. By 5 p.m., the smoke had diminished as crews worked inside the home. Our reporter at the scene says crews have finished with the fire and are now examining the house.

No word yet on injuries, but photos from the scene show the house was damaged.
