Florida Highway Patrol troopers have arrested a woman who they say was behind the wheel of the vehicle that struck and killed an elderly man trying to cross State Road 200 on Sept. 23 and then left the scene.

FHP Traffic Homicide Investigator John Gurrieri arrested Somer Lynn Fox on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident involving death. Fox, who was taken into custody without incident at her residence, was booked into the county jail and was being held without bail.
