PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – President Donald Trump mentioned Portland once again during a press briefing Thursday evening, as seen on NewsNation.
Trump answered questions regarding Antifa, the anti-fascist political group that was recently designated a terrorist organization in an executive order the president signed on Monday. His response used Portland as an example.
“You go out to Portland, people die out there,” he said. “Many people have died over the years in Portland. Portland is – I don’t know how anyone lives there. It’s amazing. But it’s anarchy out there, and that’s what they want. They want anarchy, like when they attacked Seattle, and took over a big percentage of the city.”
He said he had made plans to “do a big number” on the city, but claimed that “they heard that and everyb
