PITTSBURGH —
A Pittsburgh family is traveling to Ireland to cheer on the Steelers, while honoring their late parents and connecting with their Irish heritage.
"I'm looking forward to going to Ireland with my siblings, my two sisters and my brother. It's a family trip to our family homeland," Margaret Philbin said Thursday. "I just think it's going to be great. We get to see the Steelers, we get to be together." Advertisement
The family was traveling in Steelers style, dressed in black and gold from head to toe at Pittsburgh International Airport.
"We have our matching hats that I made, our special earrings with the shamrocks, shoes," Erin Parfitt said. "In Ireland, we have coordinated outfits for all of the events that we're going to do, and very special game-day coordinated outfits."
